The Capitol Theatre has been serving the area since 1921 and is one of the oldest functioning historical landmarks in downtown Clearwater.

Entering its 81st season, Francis Wilson Playhouse was voted Best Community Theatre in Tampa Bay by Tampa Bay magazine. And, it is definitely Clearwater's Favorite Community Theatre.
The Playhouse produces a regular season of popular, well-known plays and also holds concerts at the Playhouse, as well as Shows for Young Audiences. There are open audition calls for all shows, and the theatre is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers.
West Coast Players Theatre is a 100-seat performing arts venue, which hosts a variety of productions througout the year. Past productions include works by W. Somerset Maugham, Tennessee Williams and Neil Simon. It also hosts one-act plays, festivals, readings and other vents. Individuals are welcome to audion for the West Coast Players theatrical group and donations are welcome.
