The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization whose members serve the community and promote social and educational fellowship. The St. Charles Council 823 hosts regular barbecues, has retiree luncheons and evening activities at the hall. Any Catholic man who is at least 18 years old can apply to be a member of the Knights of Columbus. The Knights of Columbus also has a ladies auxiliary. The Knights of Columbus Hall includes a hall for meetings or banquets, a downstairs party/pool room and a kitchen. The banquet room can seat up to 200 people and is available for rent.
The Foundry Art Centre is a visual and performing arts center for the greater St. Charles/St. Louis Community. An ongoing rotation of traveling exhibitions, juried competitions and curated exhibits representing all media forms are exhibited in the multiple galleries.
The second floor houses studios and shops for more than 20 local artists. Large glass windows allow visitors to watch the artists at work.
Since its opening in 2004, the Foundry has served the community as a cultural resource supporting fine arts in education.
Lindenwood University opened the J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts on September 11, 2008. The center has two theaters including the 1,200-seat Bezemes Family Theatre and the 250-seat Emerson Black Box Theatre. It also features the Boyle Gallery, an art gallery in which local, national and regional artists display work. The center also provides classrooms and offices for students and professors. Student plays, orchestral performances and national performances such as Legally Blonde perform at the theater.
The Elks Lodge is an American organization and social club known for its community service involvement. With over 2,000 lodges nationwide, the Elks aim to instill the principles of justice, charity, fidelity and brotherly love in its members. Those interested in joining must be sponsored by members in good standing, be U.S. citizens 21 years or older and must believe in god.
Quinn Productions is a full-service talent agency that represents the Patt Holt Singers' Groups, a world-renowned show group that includes a live band, full lighting and a complete sound system. The performances can include music and dance ranging from the World War II era to today's biggest hits. The groups also sing country music.
