The Note is a music and performance venue hosting comedy nights, live music shows and independent and mainstream films. Live music performances showcase all genres of music, including everything from metal and punk to hip-hop and dubstep. It hosts birthdays, engagements and holiday parties with menus that include cheese plates with fruit, jerk chicken tenders, salad, penne with grilled chicken, crudités and desserts.
The Center for Performing and Fine Arts of Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School is a unique public school arts education initiative. It offers pre-professional arts education to students in grades 6-12. It is an adjunct, audition-only program. Classes are offered two days a week, and students complete cyber coursework on the other three days. The center offers a wide range of courses in theater, dance, music and fine arts.
