RJS Fitness is a personal-training gym and physical therapy center with equipment such as Free Motion Include Trainer, Free Motion Dual Weight Stack Cable Crossover, Star Trac Multi-Hip, foam rollers and aero pads. The bathrooms at RJS Fitness contain energy-saving hands-free dryers, and the showers are equipped with large rain-style heads. RJS Fitness also offers nutritional guidance services, providing menu planning and fitness assessments.
Fit Kids Gymnastics Center is located in an office park on Manhattan Beach Boulevard, just west of Inglewood Avenue. The center teaches and trains gymnastics for all youth age groups. Mommy and me-like classes are offered for toddlers and recreational classes are available for kids starting at age three. In addition, Fit Kids Gymnastics Center also has high-level junior Olympic training classes for older children. Boys and girls are welcome at this gym, and there is also a small shop that sells gymnastics attire.
The air temperature around the two pools (named Fiji and Tahiti) is always 84 degrees, so children are happy and comfortable in this fun, friendly and family-oriented environment. Classes are kept small and manageable. The Fiji pool ranges from two to four feet in depth; the Tahiti pool ranges from two and a half to five feet in depth.
South Bay Aquatics does pool parties too, so you can treat your kids to summer in the middle of a cold snap.
Please note that although South Bay Aquatic signs are everywhere, the building is shared with other businesses. The entrance to South Bay Aquatics is at the rear of the parking lot where two tall palms frame the door.
