The Greenwich Family YMCA is located in the large historic brick building on the corner of East Putnam Ave and Main Street. Built in 1916 with the generous donations from Rebecca Witherell, the Greenwich YMCA offers its members a fully-equipped free-weight center, wellness center with over 70 training machines, men's and women's locker rooms, sauna and steam rooms, a 50-meter Olympic sized pool and a gymnasium. In addition, the YMCA offers a variety of children and adult programs including summer camp, childcare programs, personal training and aerobic classes. The mission of Community Centers Inc. (CCI) hasn't changed much since its founding by the Community Chest in 1955. The nonprofit's purpose is to support and engage those who are economically marginalized, have special needs or who might otherwise be left out of Greenwich community life.
CCI offers a combination of educational and therapeutic recreational programs, counseling, and advocacy to residents of all ages, racial groups and with a variety of needs.
For younger residents, CCI offers extracurricular activities and a breakfast and homework club at the elementary schools. Single parents can find support at CCI, as can seniors and adults with special needs.
Annual events include November's Annual Festive Giving and the Golf Outing held each July at Stanwich Club.
Get in Shape for Women aims to provide women with a full body workout routine to help get them in shape. In addition, the trainers create a customized ‘6 meal a day’ nutrition program for their clients. The gym offers a small group training atmosphere which aims to help motivate members and help with accountability.

Founded in 1998, Personal Training Professionals is a personal training and wellness studio with locations in New Canaan, Southport, Ridgefield, Wilton and Greenwich. The studio features state-of-the-art exercise equipment, offering a professional fitness program, massage therapy, Pilates and nutritional counseling services with experienced and friendly trainers.
