The Wildwood Recreation Center is located on 28th Ave. in St Petersburg FL. This is one of nine city-run recreation centers in St. Pete. There are after-school care programs, weekly sport programs and on-site party rentals.
Curves is located in Bay Pointe Plaza and is somewhat hidden to the right of Publix. Curves is known for its fast and fun 30-minute workout that is designed specifically for women. Accountability groups are always being formed to help with weight management. The Silver Sneakers fitness program is available here.
"Body D," as the locals call it, has been a favorite of the fit in South Pasadena since 1986. There's a wide selection of modern exercise machines, and a regular schedule of classes in cardio, yoga, pilates, zumba and much more. The four staff trainers are all certified in personal training, as well as first aid, CPR and AED. Child care is available in the onsite play center.
As the name suggests, members can work out at this facility any time. The gym is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Other amenities include a lounge that offers a free coffee bar, a 50-inch HDTV and free WiFi. Tanning facilities are also available.
