Owner Neil Wilson grew up in Summit and has translated his passion for health and fitness into a thriving career. He brings to this bright first floor studio his 10 years of experience at the Summit YMCA working with fitness equipment, massage, nutrition and personal training. In addition to a brand new Kinesis machine which can be used for both group and individual training, the newly renovated studio across the hall offers total body work, Pilates, and yoga classes, along with modern classes such as pole dancing, zumba and salsa.
The Summit Area YMCA Association is home to the administrative offices for the four area branches the association oversees—Berkeley Heights YMCA, Springfield YMCA, The Learning Circle and the Summit YMCA.
Kidville Summit offers party services for chindren from infants up to age six. Kidville hosts birthday parties and offers classes in art, gym, music and dance.
The Bar Method was first opened as an exercise studio in Greenwich, CT in 1991 by Burr Leonard, a former journalist and Carl Diehl, a lawyer. Since then they have built and franchised many Bar Method studios around the country and have even produced two exercise DVDs. The Bar Method is based on the methods of Lotte Berk and offers fat burning, muscle carving, body reshaping, arm sculpting, waist trimming and posture enhancing workouts.
