The Rinx of Hauppauge operates its own preschool for children 2 years old to 5 years old located inside the same building as the ice skating rink. It offers half-day programs such as Mommy and Me, the 2-year-old Separation Program and the 2-year-old Playgroup Program, all of which focus on preschool readiness and motor skills. The half-day programs also help parents and young children gradually separate and ease the transition to a school environment. Its full-day program for children 3 years old to 5 years old is divided by age group. It is designed to provide interactive learning in language, science, math, art, preschool manipulatives and dramatic play. It also has a computer/library lab. Outdoor playground recreation and ice skating lessons are included in the tuition.
Located less than a mile from Route 111, the Health Club in building 888 provides services for the building's memebers only. You can find many companies' offices here, such as Insignia Mortage Group Inc, Country club Associates, and Mutual of Omaha at this location.
