Amarillo Department of Public Health is a member of the Bi-City-County Health District, which serves Amarillo, Canyon, and all the other communities and citizens of Potter and Randall counties in Texas. The department is located in Amarillo, Texas, and offers a variety of public health services, including community health assessment, assurance of health services and promotion of policies that encourage the health of the community. Amarillo Department of Public Health also provides services for sexually transmitted disease, HIV and AIDS, tuberculosis, immunizations, refugee clinics and teen pregnancy. Additionally, the department s services include bioterrorism preparedness, communicable diseases information, and education and training.
