Better Hearing Center of Berkeley is a private audiology practice. The clinic specializes in comprehensive hearing evaluations, tinnitus treatments and in-house hearing aid repair. Additionally, the practice provides a wide variety of digital hearing devices with custom molds and noise protection as well as Cochlear implants, which include BAHA programming and follow up. Better Hearing Center of Berkeley is led by certified audiologists Mark J. Sanford and Letta A. Wesley.
This Berkeley center was designed for the needs of kids with hearing impairment and offers a preschool in which instruction is given both in English and in sign language; there are also programs to teach "total communication." This approach involves the use of speech, sign language and hearing aids and develops a customized education for each child based on their needs and learning style.
