La Jolla Historical Society is located on Eads Avenue and Prospect Street, one block from the ocean. It is situated within a historic cottage that was built in 1909. The organization maintains books, magazines, newspapers and over 10,000 photographic prints.
Amenities
Wisteria Cottage was donated to the La Jolla Historical Society and has been remodeled for use as its new public exhibition space. The hall will function as a place where the community can learn about local history through exhibits such as the history of the postal service in La Jolla. The back rooms display art for sale by local artists.
