If you come into Ocean Cafe & Restaurant on different days or at different times, you may have two entirely different experiences. The restaurant specializes in Mediterranean cuisine, but also serves Middle Eastern and traditional bar favorites. They've got a big outdoor patio with 30 tables, an outdoor bar and viewing areas for football on Saturday, Sunday or any other night. Inside, the restaurant also has a stage for karaoke. It's also got a surprisingly upscale dining atmosphere, with 12 interior tables.
Hookah Source is a small locally owned and operated hookah lounge. It is open late for after study gatherings with friends. It is very popular with the CSUN students. You can bring your own snacks if you wish.
