Southwest Trailer Sales and Service, located in downtown Ramona on Main Street, opened in 1992. Since then, its client base has grown to include the entire U.S. Southwest sells, rents and consigns horse, stock, enclosed, utility, dump, landscape and desert trailers, among others. In addition to sales, Southwest also provides repair services. Financing is available to qualified customers.
Robert and Dixie North breed beautiful Arabian horses on their ranch a few miles east of central Ramona on Route 78. Stallions include champions El Chall, Ever After and Sir Fames, and mare champions are Brisa El Power, Donna Fantastykah and Psylk Obsession. The website has a catalog of horses for sale and their bloodlines. The Norths welcome the public to their ranch every spring for an open house and barbecue.
