Miner's Bagley Inn is a core piece of Bloomfield Hills history, as well as state history — when Michigan was simply a territory under President Jackson, the Inn was located on Long Lake Road and Woodward Avenue, back when Woodward Avenue was still known as Saginaw Trail. It was owned and run by Judge Bagley and his family as a place for community meetings. Eventually, the property changed hands and was relocated to its current spot, where Susan Miner and her sons created a home, and then a retail shop. After undergoing extensive renovations, it is now owned by Michael Petrucci and Paul DePorre, who use it as an office space for their own businesses while paying homage to its legacy as an historical landmark.
