Southern Connecticut Womens Health Care Associates is a practice of obstetricians and gynecologists located in Milford, Connecticut and Westport, Connecticut. All deliveries, procedures, and surgeries are performed at the world renowned Yale-New Haven Hospital in downtown New Haven, Connecticut. Our doctors mission is to empower women to care about their health, and encourage them through education and partnership. Southern Connecticut Womens Health Care Associates revolves around two remarkable female doctors, Dr. Miriam Sivkin and Dr. Mary Murray. Dr. Miriam Sivkin is highly educated, with an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. She has a Masters of Arts is in Psychology, and her medical degree comes from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. In addition to being a remarkable OB/GYN, Dr. Sivkin is the only M.D who is a licensed sex therapist in the state of Connecticut. Dr. Sivkin has served as the Chief of Staff at Milford Hospital. Currently, she is a Clinical Instructor, Yale School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences. Dr. Sivkin is also one of a few physicians in the United States who have been accredited by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. Dr. Mary Murray is also highly educated and experienced in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her undergraduate degree is from Mercer University and was awarded her M.D. from the Georgia Health Sciences University. She has served as the Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Nantucket Cottage Hospital. Dr. Mary Murray offers minimally invasive gynecological surgeries so women recover faster, have less pain, and can lead normal lives. Together, these compassionate and caring women provide a place where womens health matters and where other women can feel safe to talk to female doctors about the details of their lives and health. Their combined experience spans more than 50 years.
