I started after graduation, working up to senior positions there before I started working with Allstate. But when a retiring agency owner approached me about buying his agency in Rutland City, I started down a more entrepreneurial path. It was an unexpected opportunity, but it was exactly the right one. So I bought his business in 2004 and have been doing my best to do right by each customer ever since.
I count myself lucky to do the work I do, and to live among the lakes and mountains that have always given me such joy. Which is why I also work hard to give back. We’re members of the Rutland Regional Chamber of Commerce, and I support the United Way of Rutland County and Wounded Warrior Vermont, and I also help the Rutland City Fire Department put on fire prevention programs in area schools.
