Located in Gulf Shores, Ala., Gulf Shores Middle is an educational institution that offers a range of academic and extracurricular programs for students in grades six through eight. It enrolls more than 400 students. The school offers classes in science, English, art and computer education. It also provides instruction in math, social studies, music and physical education. Gulf Shores Middle employs a school counselor who provides individual and group counseling services, as well as information related to various scholarships for eligible students. It has a library that stocks a variety of print and nonprint research articles, reference materials and books. Additionally, the school conducts various recreational, social and educational events, as well as cheerleading, cross-country and basketball tournaments for boys and girls. Gulf Shores Middle is a part of Baldwin County Public Schools, which governs elementary, middle and high schools.
