South Brunswick Middle School is a public school offering educational instruction to students in grades six through eight. The school has an enrollment of more than 900 students and is a part of the Brunswick County School District. It offers instructions in science, language arts, English, mathematics, health education, computer science, social studies, arts and crafts, vocal and instrumental music and physical education. Its parent-teacher association sponsors various family events and academic enrichment programs throughout the school year. The school s mascot is cougar and has athletic teams in baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, golf, soccer, softball and volleyball.
