Seventh-day is a Christian school that teaches children from pre-school to eigth grade in the Adventist tradition. It's liscened by the state of New Jersey. It is adjoined to The First Seventh Day Adventist Church, and is across the street from Argonne Park.
The Teaneck Community Charter School is a public school for local students from kindergarten through eighth grade. The charter school provides an alternative to traditional public schools, a diverse student body and a curriculum that incorporates environmental studies and the arts into academics. Benjamin Franklin Middle School is one of two public middle schools in town. Programs at the school include English as a Second Language, fine arts and athletics as well as the standard middle school curriculum. The school has a range of extracurricular activities including student government, peer mentoring, yearbook and community service projects. Two large fields are on school property. In addition to by vehicle, the school is accessible by a walkway overpass from Milton Votee Park to Windsor Road.
