Olympia Waldorf School, formerly known as Chambers Prairie School, provides learning opportunities for students in kindergarten through grade eight. Established in 1914, it is a nonprofit, coeducational school that conducts classes in math, science, language arts, history, geography, geology and economics, as well as German and Spanish. Olympia Waldorf School offers painting, music, gardening, woodworking, drawing, strings, choir and drama programs. It also administers various handwork programs, including knitting, spinning and sewing. The school organizes several parent association meetings. It is a developing member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA).
