Heffalump is a non-profit cooperative nursery school designed to provide children with an alternative to traditional preschool programs. The school offers 2- to 5-year-old kids a warm, supportive and nurturing environment.
The educational program balances teacher-directed activity and unstructured play time. Each week, a new theme is chosen to direct daily activities, such as "shapes," "feelings," or "energy." Activities include art, science, cooking, gardening and more.

Located in Palo Alto, Hope Technology School is a private, non-profit educational facility which provides preschool, elementary school and vocational learning opportunities for both typical students and students with special needs. Additional services include occupational, speech pathology and physical therapy. School tours are held the second Monday of each month at 3pm.
Hays Walter Elementary School, home of the Wildcats, is a feeder school to Jordan Junior High School and Palo Alto High School. Hays Walter School is part of the Palo Alto Unified School District. The school has high-quality playground areas and is next to a city park.
