WS Packaging Group was formed by the merger in October 2000 of two of the premier printing and packaging companies, Wisconsin Label Corporation (WLGroup) of Algoma, Wis., and Superior Label Systems in Mason, Ohio. Through purchases of related manufacturing facilities, the company has steadily increased its range of product offerings and presence throughout the continental United States. With its latest acquisition, WS Packaging Group has nearly 20 manufacturing facilities with projected 2006 sales of more than $300 million.
