Located in Flushing, N.Y., Local 300 National Postal Mail Handlers Union is operated by the National Postal Mail Handlers Union, also known as NPMHU. It is a labor union that represents more than 50,000 mail-handler members in over 35 local unions at postal facilities across the United States. The union is affiliated with a variety of organizations, including the Laborers International Union of North America, AFL-CIO, Communications International Union and Postal Employees Relief Fund. The affiliate organizations promote the rights and interests of mail handlers. The union provides the Union Privilege Program that offers a variety of services, including a low-interest NPMHU MasterCard, legal advices and the Union Plus Motor Club that offers free family coverage plans. Its Union Member Mortgage and Real Estate program provides low down payments, competitive interest rates and free home buying and selling consultations.
