Flushing High School is one of the oldest public high schools in New York City, and was founded more than 150 years ago. The school is located in Flushing, N.Y., and offers a variety of co-curricular and educational programs to students in grades nine through 12. It offers various subjects, such as English, arts and crafts, fine arts, mathematics, science, social studies, computers, music, and health and physical education. Flushing High School also offers business, foreign languages, English as a second language, media studies, music and various after school programs. The schools parent-teacher organization involves parents in various social services and educational programs of the school.
