Founded in 1803, Social Law Library is a legal research institution. The library provides training and services to the judiciary and practicing bar of Massachusetts. It maintains a collection of more than 420,000 items, including books, journals, periodicals and research materials. It also houses a range of multimedia products that includes CDs, DVDs and interactive videos. The library offers books and research materials on a variety of topics, such as banking, communications, civil rights, governmental contracts, paralegal skills, and administrative and criminal law. Social Law Library also provides a range of services, including reference assistance and document delivery. In addition, the library operates an online catalog that offers search options for titles, authors and subjects. Social Law Library is located in Boston.
