Larry J. Bakker launched Landscape Design Services in 1968 out of his home with just one employee. Although the location remains the same, Larry has built the firm into one of the largest full-service landscape companies in Western Michigan. Bakker was joined by his sons and developed a team of more than 125 professionals, delivering landscape architecture, construction and maintenance services. The company assists with garden design, as well as design and layout of hardscapes that include driveways, sidewalks, swimming pools and decks. Landscape Design Services is located in Holland, Mich.
