Founded in 1912, Milwaukee Area Technical College has campus locations throughout Wisconsin, including Milwaukee, Mequon, Oak Creek and West Allis. It offers various schedules of class attendance that include day, evening, weekend and online classes; and provides more than 200 degree, diploma, certificate and apprentice programs, such as technical and remedial education and skill-specific training. It offers college parallel and four-year college transfer programs, which credits transfer to four-year colleges and universities. The college offers pre-college education and short-term training program which provides on-job experience through the office of corporate learning. Milwaukee Area Technical College also provides outreach programs, which include partnerships with community-based organizations and school districts.
