Eugene Public Library provides a variety of informational, educational, and recreational material to 4,000 patrons every day. The Librarys collection, available at all three locations, includes: audiobooks, books, CDs, downloadable music, DVDs, eBooks, newspapers, magazines, cultural passes, and electronic resources. Library staff provide research assistance and reading suggestions in person, by phone, or via instant message chat. Each year, the Library sponsors more than 900 free events for all ages. More than 100 computers are available; they offer access to the Internet, the Info Hub online research tools, and Microsoft Office products. Many services are available 24/7.

The Tigard Public Library is a part of the city government of Tigard in Oregon. The library offers access to print books, audiotapes and CDs. It operates an organization that encourages gift donations for the enrichment of library collection, equipment and furnishings. The Tigard Public Library also provides interlibrary loans. The library offers computer classes that focus on the overview of computer components. In addition, it delivers books and reference materials to member libraries. The library organizes adult programs that include genealogy workshops and book discussion groups. The Tigard Public Library additionally provides library cards. It is a member of Washington County Cooperative Services.

The Genealogical Forum of Oregon, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 1946. The objectives of the Forum are to instruct in research, to create an interest in genealogy, and to share, compile and publish genealogical and historical materials. The Forum is an all volunteer organization with no paid staff. You are invited to research in our library for FREE the first Monday of each month, to attend any of the free interest group meetings or monthly program. We have one of the largest independent genealogy libraries on the West Coast. Besides our Oregon collection, we have regional, national, and world-wide resources. Research assistants can give you a tour, answer questions, and assist with your research. Non-members pay $7.00 day use fee except the first Monday of the month.
