On the same block as the Logging Legacy Memorial Park in downtown Enunclaw is the Enumclaw Public Library. Community flyers, newspapers and elegant displays of locally produced art greet visitors before they enter into the main library room with over 50,000 items and over 185,000 circulating annually. Among these items are:

  • Books and audio for a three-week loan period
  • Magazines for a one-week loan period
  • Video for a one-week loan period (limit of 6 per library card, with video permission)

Late fees for books, audio and magazines are $.5 per day. For videos, the late fee is $1 per day.

The library provides large meeting rooms and quiet study rooms available on a first-time, first-served basis.  

Additional services and features include children's programs, interlibrary loans, historical photographs, public computers, online databases, e-books and the library's online catalog.

Newcastle Library is a public lending library in the King County Library System. The library offers an extensive collection of books, magazines, music, movies, databases, downloads, audiobooks and more. It offers computers, internet and free wifi as well as meeting rooms and research and work resources. Founded in 1938, Burien Library offers a range of informational, educational and recreational resources for users of all ages. The library houses more than 100,000 books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, e-books, videocassettes, CDs and documents. In addition, it offers meeting rooms for noncommercial purposes. Burien Library also provides volunteer tutors for the preparation of math, SAT and WASL tests. Additionally, the library offers special programs for students in kindergarten through grade 12. It sponsors a variety of book clubs at its community libraries. In addition, Burien Library offers the English as a Second Language and early literacy programs. Its collection includes books, magazines, periodicals, videos, DVDs, and books on videocassettes and CDs. In addition, Downtown Yakima Library offers materials and large-print books in Spanish.
