Two Shamrocks is an Irish pub that opened in O'Fallon in the summer of 2012.
Harris said Two Shamrocks appeals to a wide demographic.
"We think we’ll have a little something for everybody," he added. "Our big thing is, I know we’ll have good food, we don’t want to be anything fancy."
Two Shamrocks features five flat screen TVs, where Harris said they'll make sure to show sporting events--but he said Two Shamrocks is not really a sports bar.
"It's a place where guys can come in after golf and have a few beers or for a family to come in with their kids," he said.
Two Shamrocks also has a dining area for parties that seats 8-10 people. This is called the "Hooley Room," which is gaelic for "Party Room."
Patrons of Two Shamrocks can expect large portions, according to co-owner John Harris. The menu features signature items including the Big Beef and Boursin, piled high with cheese.
A few traditional Irish menu items include corn beef and cabbage made from scratch and Irish nachos, with potato chips topped with sweet sauteed onions, fire roasted peppers and ground beef.
Harris said eventually, Two Shamrocks will have a smoker and offer smoked trout, an Irish inspired item he says will set them apart from other pubs.
The pub's drink menu features Guinness Stout, Harp, Killians, Magners Cider, wine by the glass and a wide array of Irish whiskey.
