Avondale Wine & Cheese is located in West Ashley just minutes from downtown and James Island. It offers a wide selection of artisanal cheeses and small production wines at competitive prices. The company has won a number of local awards for both its wines and its cheeses. It also offers made-to-order gift baskets, and it hosts wine and cheese tastings on Mondays and Thursdays from 5pm to 8pm, plus a Friday happy hour from 4pm to 8pm. Samples are available daily.
