Sharing a facility with Undisputed Boxing, Golden State Tae Kwon Do was established in 1988 and offers classes for kids and adults. Founders Chris Jensen and Debbie Pedersen are black belts and world-class trainers who emphasize safety, camaraderie and respect.
United Studios of Self Defense is a chain of martial arts centers with locations across North America. It teaches Shaolin Kenpo, a mixture of Karate, Kung Fu and Jiu Jitsu and other martial arts forms. Special activities are available in addition to traditional classes, including movie nights, open workouts, abduction prevention seminars, birthday parties, executive protection seminars and community safety outreach programs.
Sensei Mike Drewniany brings a multidisciplinary approach to martial arts, rooted in the traditions of kung fu and kempo karate. The academy's specialty is weapons training, and students have the opportunity to perform at tournament competitions through out the Bay Area. Classes are offered six days a week for adults, Tiger Tots (3 - 4.5 years old), Pee Wees (5 - 7 years old) and Juniors (8 - 13 years old).
