Bethune-Cookman College has been operational for more than 100 years. Founded by Mary Jane McLeod Bethune, the college enrolls more than 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students annually. Based in Daytona Beach, it has extension sites in Bradenton, Fort Pierce, Gainesville, Spuds, Sanford and West Palm Beach, Fla. In addition to bachelor s, master s and doctoral degrees, the college provides various special programs, including alliance for graduate education in the professoriate, honors college, international education and study abroad modules, online and long-distance learning, presidential scholarships, project renaissance, and transfer agreement and planning.
