Rush Neurobehavioral Center is part of the Rush University Medical Center. The aim of the center is to help children with learning disabilities. Many children have trouble learning, making friends, focusing their attention or controlling their behavior. A large part of the answer to why they do lies within the structure of their brain chemistry. The center performs clinical assessments on the child that yield accurate diagnoses. It creates treatment plans that build on each child's abilities and the treatments produce results. Time and again Rush sees children once dismissed as lazy or badly behaved build on their strengths and achieve their full potential.
