Entering Pegasus Cafe is a breath of fresh air. Walls covered with hand paintings and trompe l'oeil intermix with Greek columns and white lace curtains. Two sides of the restaurant are covered with windows, making it open, light and airy. This family-owned and run restaurant is made for families and friends to come together while enjoying Greek and vegetarian fare.
Husband and wife Maggie and Antoine Sleiman opened the cafe in 1999 and have been serving the Rancho Bernardo community their homemade specialties ever since. Maggie warmly greets diners and waits tables while Antoine prepares the food. Everything is made from scratch, even the yogurt. Maggie likes to quote a Greek saying: "When you meet a Greek, sit down and eat." Their goal is to make you feel at home.
