The Baltimore County Game and Fish Protective Association was established in 1936 by members of the community with a love and understanding of the great outdoors and a desire to improve wildlife preservation through education, conservation and support of related legislation. Its headquarters in Parkville, just north of town in Northwind Road, is home to its clubhouse where meetings are held, as well as a shooting range and archery faclities. This facility is actively managed for conservation of local wildlife, so expect to see quite a few deer while pulling onto the property.

It regularly host shooting events and hunter's education classes, as well as community social events, such as annual bull roasts and flea markets. Members of the community wishing to become members of BCGF are encouraged to call for more information.
