Workingmans Store originated in 1936, catering primarily to the working man in a small shop in Old Town Winchester. As our business grew, the need for more space prompted us to move to our present location on Boscawen Street. Ladies apparel, childrens, and western wear was added, and our name was changed to reflect our new image. Still offering the same old fashioned service from years gone by, The Total Image and Workingmans Store continues on. We are a locally owned business, in the same family for over 30 years. Our family extends to our long term and dedicated sales force that prides themselves in going out of their way for you. We hold a unique place in the Winchester retail scene. We have kept our location away from the citys main retail center with our warm, friendly atmosphere and the large variety and depth of our inventory. Our reputation has been built on carrying the sizes and styles not offered by other stores, competitive pricing, and quality name brand merchandise. We are basically two stores under one roof with a mixture of western and workwear for men, women, and children. We carry big man sizes up to to 10x. We are the largest independent retailer of Carhartt in the state. Our sales associates will gladly cater to whatever specific work apparel needs an individual or large corporation may have.
