The Broome County Mental Health Department is responsible for planning, developing and evaluating mental hygiene services in Broome County, N.Y. Its services include alcoholism and substance abuse services and various mental health programs. The Broome County Mental Health Department also serves mentally retarded and developmentally disabled individuals. The department is also licensed to operate mental health and chemical dependency programs. Additionally, it offers outpatient programs for adults, adolescents and children.
