Founded in 1970, Colorado West Regional Mental Health is a private, nonprofit corporation that provides mental health services to the residents of more than 10 counties in western Colorado. Located in Grand Junction, Colo., it offers a wide range of health services including outpatient mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling, school-based programs, intensive family intervention and employee assistance programs. Additionally, Colorado West Regional Mental Health offers individual psychotherapy program specializing in depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and post traumatic stress disorder. It also offers several substance abuse treatment services, including treatment program for methamphetamine abuse and gender specific substance abuse treatment for women.
