Founded in 1970, Colorado West Regional Mental Health is a private, nonprofit corporation that provides mental health services to the residents of more than 10 counties in western Colorado. Located in Grand Junction, Colo., it offers a wide range of health services including outpatient mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling, school-based programs, intensive family intervention and employee assistance programs. Behavioral Health and Wellness clinic was established in 1992 by owners Dr. J. Christopher and Cheryl Young. We have a staff of eighteen professional mental health providers who administer services to all age groups. We are a fully integrated clinic providing services ranging from individual, family and group therapy, Psychological Testing, Biofeedback and we now have two prescribing nurse practitioners. It is our continuing goal to be an integral part of the Western Slope community and to diversify our services to meet the growing demands of the population.We have a full range of self-help books available in our Caroline M.
