With an experience of over 100 years, Southern Ohio Behavioral Health is a diverse group that offers services from a variety of behavioral health disciplines. It consists of full-time mental health professionals and teams of social workers, clinical psychologists and psychiatrists. Southern Ohio Behavioral Health offers behavioral health programs for individuals residing in long-term care facilities, such as nursing homes. It provides diagnostic assessment, individual and group therapy, psychiatric and case management services. The center also offers specialized services, such as psychological evaluation and medication management for individuals with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. Additionally, Southern Ohio Behavioral Health provides the Therapy Support Dogs Program and is located in Ironton, Ohio.
