David Park, it offers numerous opportunities for members to worship and participate in social and religious activities, including nature outings, Bible study, meditation, Sunday school and more.

Saint Andrews supports the South Palo Alto Food Closet and provides a monthly Parents Night Out that offers children "food, fun and fellowship" so adults can have the night free.

Amidst several churches on Middlefield Road, University A.M.E. Zion Church is the oldest African-American church in the area. Formerly located on Ramona Street, the church moved to the current Middlefield location to provide a more fitting facility for the congregation. The A.M.E. Zion Church's emphasis is on "the salvation of the whole person--mind, body and spirit." Ultimately, it strives to be "The Freedom Church."

Aldersgate United Methodist Church, led by Rev. Roger Morimoto, is a "reconciling" congregation situated in the beautiful hills of West Palo Alto.
