Aldersgate United Methodist Church has been serving North Charleston's spiritual community for more than 65 years. It offers a variety of opportunities for congregation members, who refer to Aldersgate as "the Church of the Warm Heart." These opportunities include men's, women's and youth ministries, Bible study, Sunday school and a church choir, as well as events that stress community involvement. The church also runs weekly Stitch and Pray gatherings, AA meetings and weight-loss groups. Aldersgate is led by Pastor Aaron Meadows.
