Riverside IMAX Theater is a cinema hall that showcases a variety of movies in a 3-D format. The theater hosts morning, afternoon and night movie shows. It has showcased a variety of movies, such as Hubble 3D, Mysteries of Egypt, Alice In Wonderland and Train Your Dragon. Riverside IMAX Theater also offers online ticket buying services. The theater is located in the Virginia Air & Space Center, which is a nonprofit organization. Founded in 1992, the center is spread over an area of more than 2 acres. The Virginia Air & Space Center features a space gallery, flight artifacts and aviation exhibits. In addition, it manages the Cosmic Caf , which serves a variety of cookies, muffins, beverages and hot dogs.
