Since 1999, the Yamaha Music School has been located on the first floor of the Encino Town Center on Ventura Boulevard between Amestoy and Louise Avenues. It offers private lessons for those 6 years old and up. It offers piano, cello, guitar, drums and composition classes. It also enrolls students in the certificate of merit program, where students are evaluated by the state. It also offers group classes for small children and those more interested in a group environment than one on one.
