Santa Teresa Academy of Music and Dance was established to bring exceptional music and dance instruction to the city of San Jose. Our beautifully designed facility includes professional floating hardwood dance floors and sound dampened music rooms with windows in every door. Teachers at our school are experts in their instrument or dance style and are experienced in working with students of all levels, especially beginners.
We offer dance classes in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Preschool Dance and Parent and Tot. We are also proud to be one of very few studios in the area to teach ballroom classes for children and teens, as well as adults. We offer private music instruction as well as group classes in piano, guitar, voice, violin and cello. Our music lessons and dance classes are scheduled at a variety of times so that you can book classes at a time that works best for you.

C.B. Perkins Co is a third generation family business, with a guitar shop located in San Jose, California. The business began in 1923 when Charles Blaine Perkins, a music teacher, needed working instruments for his students. He began to learn the art of stringed instrument repair, or luthiery. After a while, he decided to open his own shop, and he taught his son Kent the trade as well. Charles and Kent began building their own guitars in the late 1960s, as well as doing guitar repair and customizing. Today, C.B. Perkins has added a retail shop and lessons studios. We dont build guitars right now, but we are still have a busy repair shop. Kents sons, Erick and Josh are running the business now. Kent is still actively involved in the shop, though he will claim that hes "just the janitor". We began selling used instruments and parts on eBay ( username cbperkinsco ) a couple years ago, and we had such a phenomenal response that we decided to build our own online store. We offer the same customer service to our online customers as we would if you walked into our shop. We bend over backwards to make our customers happy, whether they are in Sydney, Austrailia, or right around the corner in Campbell, CA.
The Almaden School of Music, Art & Dance offers classes in playing various musical instruments, such as piano, violin, flute, guitar, saxophone, drums, viola and clarinet. Founded in 1995, it provides opportunities for students aspiring to be artists. The school also offers dance sessions for ballet, tap and jazz. The Almaden School of Music, Art & Dance additionally provides group and individual lessons for mathematics, French and Spanish.
