The Aspen Music Festival and School is one of the premier music festivals and training institutes in the United States. It presents more than 350 musical events during its nine-week summer season. The school offers a variety of performance and study programs, including weekly private lessons, coaching sessions and master classes. The Aspen Music Festival and School provides specialized programs for piano and guitar, as well as conducts performances for the Center for Advanced Quartet Studies, Aspen Opera Theater Center and Audio Recording Institute. Its Instrumental Program offers orchestral performance opportunities for strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion and harp musicians. The school maintains a location in Aspen, Colo.
