BAMCafe is operated by Great Performances, the catering and food service at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. The cafe is open before and after the day's performance. The eclectic menu features such delicacies as pumpkin risotto, sea scallops and steaks. Patrons are welcome to imbibe from the many choices of domestic and imported wines and cocktails.
Amenities
The Brooklyn-Queens Conservatory of Music was founded in 1897 and provides a space for private music lessons. Many of their 4000 students study classical and jazz music, but all styles of music are taught on a variety of instruments. A non-profit organization, its annual schedule consists of three trimesters and ample opportunity to form ensembles with other musicians.
