Dr. Panchal is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurosurgeon with expertise in the management of spinal disorders. His surgical specialties include minimally invasive procedures, motion preservation, and computer-assisted and robot-assisted surgeries. After receiving his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa, Dr. Panchal went to Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. After a rotating internship at Riverside County Regional Medical, he completed his neurosurgery residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, serving as the chief neurosurgery resident during his final year. From there, he finished his fellowship training in complex and reconstructive spine surgery at the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California. Dr. Panchal served as Director of the Spine Fellowship Program and Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery at UC Davis for five years before moving to Texas to focus on his family life. His clinical experience at a Level 1 trauma center and academic institute gave him extensive expertise in spinal pathologies. He has been honored with many awards, frequently presents research to leaders in the field, and is a proliferate publisher of articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Panchal believes there is always more he can do to help his patients.
