The Oklahoma Daily has been the official newspaper of The University of Oklahoma since 1916. The Oklahoma Daily is published Monday through Friday during the fall and spring university semesters and weekly during the summer term. Special issues are produced throughout the year. Individual copies of The Oklahoma Daily are available free at more than 100 on and off-campus distribution sites. News and production offices for the newspaper and advertising office are located on the campus in Copeland Hall. A student staff of editors, reporters, photographers, advertising representatives, designers and other personnel produces The Oklahoma Daily. The Columbia Scholastic Press Association awarded a Silver Crown The Oklahoma Daily in 2002, ranking it in the top six collegiate daily newspapers in the country.
