Hacienda del Sol is a fun Mexican restaurant located along Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood. It features a large dining area with a festive, atmospheric dining room inside. More tables are available on the patio, which is fenced in and facing the parking lot. Near the rear of the restaurant is a small club, known as Club 2000, that offers dancing and drinks for those looking for more of a nightclub atmosphere. Drinks are served in the restaurant, with margaritas and other favorites on hand for guests. Parking is free, and credit cards are accepted.
Star Garden is North Hollywood's only topless rock n roll bar that offers two stages and 54 beer varieties with 24 on tap, including domestic, imports and IPAs. Star Garden is not an average strip club, but a bar with a local feel that pumps rock, punk, alternative, 80s and pop music.Its theme nights are Tuesday 80s music and Wednesday punk rock music. Women and couples frequent Star Garden because of the relaxed dive bar atmosphere. It additionally offers a happy hour Monday through Saturday from 2pm to 7pm and a $1 pool table. Blue Zebra Adult Caberet is located off Vanowen Street, near the Bob Hope Airport. The club provides adult entertainment in a dark, cool atmosphere, with a large selection of seating and a variety of different modes of entertainment. Customers can sit around the stage close to the dancers or request a private room for an extra charge. The Blue Zebra offers specials all week, every week, and a variety of coupons and discounts can be found on the club's website. The dress code is strictly enforced and consists of the following: No gang attire, oversized or baggy clothes, headbands, jerseys, tank tops, plain white t-shirts, bandanas, solid color shirts or markers.
Deja Vu Showgirls is a gentleman's club that that features nude performers. The club includes a main stage area, VIP lounges and a juice bar. The club is available to host private events like birthday and bachelor parties. Patrons must be 18 to enter.
Hacienda Corona is a friendly neighborhood spot that features live bands and DJs playing Latin music. Dancing is popular here. The interior is outfitted in hacienda style, with neon lights and ornate paintings sprinkled around. Seating is available at the bar and at tables. Call for the entertainment schedule.
Blue Moon Nights is a popular nightclub to celebrate birthday gatherings in the North Hollywood area. It's also one of the premier destinations for "hens' night" or bachelor/bachelorette parties. On Friday nights, you can sign up to reserve an area of the club, and the door personnel will oversee your private guest list. There are three separate bars, including an outdoor patio area where smoking is permitted. The vibe here is hip-hop, and the DJs tend to mix all the hits from artists such Jay-Z, 50-Cent and Snoop Dog. Since it's close to Universal Studios and various entertainment companies, Blue Moon Nights is a popular venue for wrap parties and movie-premiere after-parties. It's only open Thursday through Saturday, but on Monday nights the club hosts LIT, an industry night for hospitality personnel.
